Born March 12, 1986, Chris Bukard is an American Photographer, author, explorer, and creative director. He grew up in the San Louise Obispo area, which was great for him as he primarily focuses on Nature and sports photography. His photography is aimed at inspiring people and their relationship with nature, as well as promoting the preservation of wild places everywhere. He is a big name in this field and has Many big clients such as Patagonia, North Face, and National Geographic Adventure. I like his photography a lot because it really captures the beauty of that moment in a way I've never seen. I find the picture of the surfer on the black sand beach particularly amazing because the contrast of color between the surfer, water, and beach really makes it pop. Many of his pictures are unreal and almost look fake. His pictures of these untamed land scapes really stands out to me, and makes me want to go travel and explore.
